Sunflowers

I am finding myself completely in love with sunflowers right now. There are several blooming around College Station at the moment and I find myself being mesmerized by their beauty each time I see them. They are so happy and cheerful that I cannot help but stare and be in complete awe! I hope you all get to experience the beauty of sunflowers right now - they really are miraculous!

fourth of July

With the 4th of July quickly approaching I thought I would take a minute to show you all how I plan to spend my day - It is going to be a beauty!

It will involve riding a few of these....

Hanging out on one of these...

Drinking several of these...

And yeah, probably this too...

Eating a yummy one of these...

And chowing down on some of these...

Munching on this that I plan on making...

And hanging with this crazy group of peeps..

All just to play with some of these...

And to watch the beauty of this!

Happy Fourth of July Everyone - Be safe and have a great one!

Are you ready for some football?

I know my husband is ready for football season! I am not going to lie though, I am ready as well. College football in College Station is the best! But, this post is for Bret, who sees the beauty in the rough and tough sport of football!

lazy, hazy, Texas weekend

This past weekend my husband and I headed down to New Braunfels, Gruene and San Antonio to spend some time with some dear friends of ours. While visiting I got to take several pictures of Texas beauty. Being outside, relaxing, enjoying nature and spending times with friends made for a great weekend.

The wonder is that we can see these trees and not wonder more.

For as long as I can remember, I have always been one to see the beauty in the trees around me. I am a little bit of a "tree hugger" you could say. I just feel that trees are the most beautiful thing on this Earth and I am constantly pointing them out to Bret and others around me. In fact, the first time I went home with my husband (then, boyfriend) his Mom made the comment that "wow, you must really like trees" because apparently I kept commenting on all the different ones around town. I do not know if every one appreciates and loves trees the way that I do but I ask that sometime today or tomorrow you just take a good hard look at how pretty the trees are in your area and just think about how different they are all around the world. They really are beautifully amazing.

I found a tree I like!
